7.1. POSTER OF THE PROPOSED SOLUTION

First of all, you have to make a POSTER OF THE NEW DESIGN. You have to explain your challenge and the design brief. You also need to upload a picture  of the prototype you built along with a short description about the new solution. What problem does it solve? Why is it a good solution? Think about it and write it down on the description. You can also add any other information you consider relevant in “others” section.

7.2. POSTER OF THE PROCESS FOLLOWED

Do you remember all you have done during these days? And the process you have followed? Let’s check your memory!

Write again the challenge and the design brief in the following template. Complete then a short assessment about the process you have followed. In order to do that, you have to answer the following questions for each of the stages: What did I learn? and What resources did I use?

7.3. INVITATION

Did your teacher tell you when and where you are going to present all the work you have done?

Your teacher is organising an event, called Communication Day, to show your work to the interested community members. For instance, people from the Council, parents, family or friends. So, you have to prepare a very beautiful invitation so that a lot of  people attend the event.

For that, each group is going to design an invitation, that will be shared among all the groups in the classroom. After discussing, the class will decide on which invitation you will use.

Finally, you will give the invitations to all the people you would like to come. You can also publish it on the school social networks and/or post it on the school noticeboards and other boards in town.

7.4. PREPARING THE PRESENTATION

After working so hard it is the time to prepare the “Communication Day”. You are going to prepare a presentation to explain the problem you identified, the process you have followed, the proposed solution and your prototype. Remember to use the Poster of the Proposed Solution, the prototype, photos…

Your teacher will tell you how, where and when the “Communication Day” will take place, who the audience will be and the programmes/support you can use.

Take this information into account and make sure you rehearse your presentation.
